Providing the data gateway to the EPA

The Environmental Dataset Gateway (EDG) is a gateway to Web-based information and services. It enables data consumers to discover, view and access data sets, as well as geospatial tools made available by EPA's program offices, regions, and labs. Likewise, EDG enables those who submit data to EPA to make data sets and geospatial information and services discoverable, viewable and accessible by others. Publicly viewable information and metadata contributed to EDG is also shared with interagency data sharing sites, including Data.gov. Users also have the ability to catalog and maintain their geospatial metadata contributions via the EPA Metadata Editor Tool (https://edg.epa.gov/EME/).
