NPDES eNOI Search Tools

This page includes links to NPDES eNOI search tools that allow users to search for basic information for and view electronic Notices of Intent (NOIs) and other reports submitted under EPA’s 2008 and 2012 Construction General Permit (CGP), 2008 Multi-Sector General Permit (MSGP), 2011 and 2016 Pesticide General Permit (PGP), and 2008 and 2013 Vessels General Permit (VGP). Forms submitted under more recent versions of these permits can be viewed here: https://permitsearch.epa.gov/epermit-search/ui/search.

Users can search for discharger-specific information under the CGP, MSGP, PGP, and VGP by tracking number, facility or owner/operator information, submission dates, status, and other fields. Search results display a “quick-look” of the discharger, such as the names of projects and operators, dates that the eNOI was submitted to EPA, and tracking numbers. Clicking on a specific tracking number will take you to a page which will display in-depth information about that particular project or vessel, as well as a link to electronic permit documents when available.

The previous General Permit Web Inventory portion of the tool has been decommissioned, but users can still access NPDES general permits data through the ECHO NPDES eRule Phase 2 Implementation Dashboard: https://edap.epa.gov/public/extensions/eRule_Phase2/eRule_Phase2.html. This includes data, such as permit number, permit name, state, EPA Region, date issued, date expired, permit category, links to electronic permit documents when available, and more. To view all general permits, clear the automatically selected filters at the top left of the page. The data can be sorted, filtered, and exported in .CSV format, which can be opened and edited in programs such as Microsoft Excel.

Make a selection from the list below to access the search page for a particular permit or to link to the ECHO NPDES eRule Phase 2 Implementation dashboard for summary-level information on all NPDES General Permits and links to those permits where available.
