Additional Property Attributes

This property is located adjacent to the Exeter River and is one of the last parcels of land that could provide public access to the Exeter River.

Former Use: The property is located near the southern Fremont border with Sandown and is currently improved with a private residence, an auto repair garage, paved areas, landscaped areas, and undeveloped wooded areas. The property is surrounded by the Exeter River and undeveloped land. Information obtained from historic USGS maps, aerial photographs, interviews with the property contact, and Town records indicate that the property has been developed since the mid-1950s. Information obtained from the Fremont Historical Society indicates that the property was formerly used as a cranberry bog and the portion along Sandown Road was the local swimming hole. A garage was constructed near the home in the early 1980s to build race cars. The garage is currently used as an auto repair facility.
