Additional Property Attributes

1201 & 1255 Main Street will be the focus of targeted investment and redevelopment by Italian manufacturing company, Dallara. Dallara has made a commitment to manufacture and assemble its new chassis for the 2012 IndyCar Series season in Speedway. A supplemental assessment, including the installation of groundwater monitoring wells, commenced on August 23, 2010. The assessment will further define site conditions and facilitate the proposed redevelopment.

Former Use: The site consists of three structures: the primary warehouse/office building, the old boiler room, and a storage building. The primary warehouse building was constructed prior to 1941 exact date unknown. Additional warehouses were added to the primary building over the years. The old bioler building is a small cinderblock building that houses the former boiler used for heating the primary building. The building appears to have been constructed when the site was originally developed prior to 1941. The storage building is a wood-d slab-on-grade wood siding structure that historically was used for the storage of paints and oils. It is currently used for miscelaneous storage.
