Property Highlights

1201 & 1255 Main Street will be the focus of targeted investment and redevelopment by Italian manufacturing company, Dallara. Dallara has made a commitment to manufacture and assemble its new chassis for the 2012 IndyCar Series season in Speedway. A supplemental assessment, including the installation of groundwater monitoring wells, commenced on August 23, 2010. The assessment will further define site conditions and facilitate the proposed redevelopment.

Former Use: The site currently consists of one two-story combined warehouse and office building comprised of multiple sections that resulted from several building additions. The building offers a total of approximately 14,300 square feet of building space. The site was used by Prest-O-Lite/Allison Engineering sometime prior to 19941 until at least 1990. The property is currently listed as "Allison Transmission Plant 4" on a hazardous waste notification form submitted to IDEM.
