Additional Property Attributes

This project will improve the existing geometry of the Brookshire Blvd. intersections with Oakdale and Hovis Roads by shifting the Oakdale Road intersection several hundred feet away from its current location. This separation will accommodate the increasing vehicular capacity. In addition to separating these two intersections, the project will add sidewalks, planting strips, landscaping, and bicycle lanes in order to improve travel conditions for pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit users.

Former Use: The site is located at 5521 Brookshire Blvd in Charlotte, Mecklenburg Coutny North Carolina. Teh iste is .54 acres taht has been improved with a 2300 sq ft single story building. The structure is currently vacant. The project site was developed with the current building in 1962. Prior to 1962, no apparent development was noted on the site.
