Property Highlights

The property was formerly used for agricultural research by the Virginia Polytechnical Institute (VPI). The property was included in the Work Plan for the Pilot Program, however interest in development lead to assessment of the property prior to the award of the grant. Four acres of the property are currently being developed by two banks for local branch offices and the remaining acreage is under consideration for other commerical activities. Following the assessment, it was determined that no remedial action was required for the property.

Former Use: This property was formerly used by VPI for agricultural research into fruit trees. It has begun redevelopment.
