Additional Property Attributes

The property was formerly used as a City of Winchester municipal yard. Use as a municipal yard included minor maintenance of fleet vehicles and equipment storage. The property formerly contained a UST, but it has been removed from the ground and the DEQ stated that no further action was required. Prior to use by the City of Winchester, the property was in use as a rock quarry. Portions of the property have not been utilized by the City of Winchester. The property is under consideration for development by Shenandoah University for use by its earth sciences department as part of their Living Laboratory.

Former Use: The property was formerly used as a city depot facility. Prior to ownership by the City, it was used as a rock quarry. The facility is currently not in use.
