Former Use: The property is comprised of two tax parcels totaling 3.06 acres of land located east of Oglethorpe Street, south of its intersection with Newcastle Street. Historically, the northern portion of the site was occupied by a wood works company and dwellings from at least 1885 to 1898, a freight depot from 1908 to 1974. The former Oglethorpe Hotel was present on the southern portion of the property from 1889 to 1949. The former Cabana Inn Motor Hotel was present from at least 1969 until the mid-1990s.
