Additional Property Attributes

The City?s Waterbury Industrial Commons, formerly a Chase Brass Works site, has been in economic and physical decline for the past 50 years, with confirmed contamination from former industrial operations. Assessing and cleaning up the WIC site will aid the redevelopment of this area in accordance with the Waterbury Plan of Conservation and Development, and bring about a higher, more beneficial use to the community. In 2018, a new parking lot was put in front of the Luvata section. Lights were installed along the roadway and within the parking lot. in addition landscaping around the parking lot was completed.
