Soil on Lot #7 was excavated and transported to a Kentucky-certified, licensed landfill.

Former Use: residential 1908-1940; dry cleaner 1940-1954; bed manufacturer 1962-1968; oil company storage warehouse 1975-mid 1990s. The site was divided into eight individual parcels, each approximately 0.07 acre lots. Newport Millennium Housing Corporation plans to redevelop the site into low- to moderate-income housing utilizing CDBG funds.
