Additional Property Attributes

This property will become a Senior Center if funding can be acquired now that it is confirmed that no contamination exists. The City of Poplar will transfer the property to Roosevelt County for that purpose.

Former Use: The property was built for use as a National Guard Armory. Following the closure of the Armory by the State of Montana, the building and property was used for office space, a youth center and was leased for a time by the Fort Peck Tribes to recondition guns. The building was razed in 1999 and the State turned the property over to the Town of Poplar. It has remained vacant.
