Former Use: The Property was first developed in 1902 as the American Crayon Company, later known as Dixon Ticonderoga. They manufactured school supplies such as crayons, chalks, watercolors, blackboards, erasers, paste and cleaners. Manufacturing continued until 2002 when the plant was permanently closed. The Property has since been owned by two salvage companies, Hayes Avenue Development Company LLC (2005-2012) and Born Again Salvage LLC (2012-present) who have stripped the Property structures for metal, lumber, and other salvageable materials.
