Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Property was developed prior to 1916 with residences and associated outbuildings. The central portion of the Property was redeveloped by 1933 with a commercial/apartment building (440 West Michigan Avenue) and a commercial building (450 West Michigan Avenue). The 440 West Michigan Avenue building was operated as an apartment building, a drug company, a grocery company, and/or a hair salon through the mid-1980�s. The 450 West Michigan Avenue building was operated as a tile company from at least the 1930�s through the 1970�s, Parko Inc. in the 1990�s, and Matrix Pec Ltd., and a distribution company in the early 2000�s. The remaining residences on the Property were removed by 1999, and were replaced with a paved parking lot and grass-covered land. The existing buildings on the Property appear to have been vacant since the late 2000�s.
