Former Use: . The subject property consists of a 2.42-acre parcel of land that is currently developed with two dilapidated warehouse structures that were built in the mid-1950s and a dilapidated storage structure that was built between 1965 and 1975. The remainder of the property consists of grassy areas and areas of thick vegetation. Fire insurance maps and aerial photographs indicate the presence of a warehouse structure on the northeast corner of the property from the mid-1950s to at least 1998. Fire insurance maps and city directories indicate the subject property was occupied by Southern Bonded Warehouse (commodity warehouses) in 1963; Stewart King & McKenzie Company (warehouse) from at least 1967 to at least 1971; U & W Manufacturing Company (shipping department) in 1967; Coastal Industries (cutting department) from at least 1971 to at least 1975; and Institutional Food Service from at least 1975 to at least 1985. The property appears to have been vacant since the 1990s.
