Additional Property Attributes

Property was identified in our target area as high priority blight removal along a corridor leading into downtown.

Former Use: The Property was residential land from at least 1916 to between 1935 and 1940 when a church was built on the northwestern portion of the Property. The church operated until the 1950s. In 1945, the main building (eastern building) on the Property was constructed and used as an auto repair/body shop. The northwestern building formerly used as a church was removed and a garage was built; however, the timing of construction is unclear and occurred sometime between 1946 and the early 1950s. The remainder of the Property has remained paved parking areas and landscaped areas. The Property was no longer listed in the city directories as of 2005 and has been vacant since at least that time.
