Cleanup/Treatment Implemented: Y
Cleanup/Treatement Categories:
Addl Cleanup/Treatment info: Alternative 3 (Extraction) is the most feasible and effective corrective action/cleanup alternative to achieve closure without restrictions for this Site. This remedial approach immediately remediates and removes areas with the highest contaminant concentrations and expeditiously minimizes potential exposure pathways. The approach promotes redevelopment of the Site by cleaning up the Site to levels below RCG residential direct contact screening levels (RDCSLs), and it is the most health protective option for future Site occupants, visitors, trespassers, and transient Site workers and maintenance personnel. This alternative for the Site would help the City of Portland achieve its goal of cleanup in order to prepare the Site for redevelopment opportunities (e.g., senior housing or commercial use).
