Soil remediation at twenty-four (24) separate excavation areas on the site is waiting for landfill disposal approval. Ten (10) groundwater monitoring wells have been installed and the first quarterly sampling has been completed on the new and five (5) existing wells.

Former Use: The Site was occupied by a junk yard (most recently OmniSource Corporation) from the 1950s through the 1990s. Site history (industrial/railroad) goes back to the early 1900s.
