Additional Property Attributes

The Property consisted of four, contiguous parcels of land developed for residential use by 1918. The parcels were acquired by Calhoun County through tax foreclosure from 2008 to 2017. The 218 South Pearl Street residential building was razed between 1931 and 1938. The residential buildings on 214 South Pearl Street, 220 South Pearl Street, and 222 South Pearl Street were razed in 2010, 2018 and 2015, respectively. The Property was vacant from 2018 to the time of the 2020 assessment.
Based on 2021 assessment results, arsenic, barium, chromium, lead, mercury, selenium and zinc were reported in soil at concentrations above EGLE Part 201 generic cleanup criteria.
