Additional Property Attributes

OCC records for this facility indicate that the tanks were installed in 1989, and have not been in use since 2008, and have had issues with water incursion since at least 2013. The previous owners were unable to remedy the issues with the leaking tanks, and the current owner purchased the property with the intention of keeping the restaurant open, unaware of the issues with the tanks. Danny Moore is the current owner of Junes restaurant, one of only a few local restaurants in Holdenville. He employs about half a dozen community members and plans to keep the business running for as long as he can to serve the community and keep its workers employed. The OCC used both of our Assessment Grants to conduct the Phase II on this property, which is why ACRES shows two different Assessment Grant funding sources for the Phase II. Reports were completed in 2023 and the Phase II report did not show any contaminants at levels high enough to start a release case with OCC PSTD. Therefore, no case was opened, and the OCC Brownfield Program closed this site in our Program in November 2023. There is no cleanup at this site. Cleanup completion date was entered as the State has issued a Certificate of No Action Necessary for this site so a cleanup date had to be entered.
