Additional Property Attributes

The site is largely occupied by a dilapidated former industrial building, and was acquired by the Town via tax-title foreclosure. Fuss & O'Neill completed multiple submittals to the Town and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection MassDEP between 2006 and 2010, which identified releases of lead, chlorinated solvents, and PAHs, and petroleum to soil, sediment, and/or groundwater, including the bedrock aquifer beneath the building.

Former Use: The property has a history of at least 90 years of manfacturing, including textiles and jewelry. Previous owners were Richard and Carol Armstrong.
