Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Operations on the property have included various industrial activities, including machine shops, foundries, warehouses, blacksmith, iron works, boiler works, armature and stock storage, machine shop, carpenter, paint shop, automobile repair shops, galvanizing plant, and sheet metal works. Also, a railroad spur existed on the western portion of the property from approximately 1906 to 1980. Railroad related activities on the property have included a freight depot/house, warehouse, acid and chemical storage, and lumber storage. The building was constructed in approximately 1931 and has been used as the Lansing City Market since that time. In addition a gasoline filling station existed on the southeastern portion of the property from approximately 1950 to 1965. The property currently is used as the Lansing City Market occupied by various vendors and the Meridian Entertainment Group on the second story of the central portion of the subject building.
