Additional Property Attributes

The site is identified by the City of Boston as Parcel 1300415001. The site is a rectangular-shaped, vacant undeveloped parcel consisting of 0.084 acres. There are no permanent buildings or structures on the site. According to historical information, the site was formerly improved with a three unit structure between 1899 and 1974, and has been vacant since at least 1989. The City of Boston currently owns the parcel. The City of Boston foreclosed on the property on September 10, 1973. The general setting surrounding the property is a vacant lot and municipal, commercial, and residential use. The Phase I ESA identified no RECs associated with offsite sources of a release from State-listed sites. However, the LSI identified a REC associated with lead, PAHs, and EPH contamination in soil. The release assigned RTN 3-26834 and was closed out with a Class A-2 RAO in 2009. Based on the current regulatory status, the soil contamination is not considered to represent a REC. Based on reviewed information, no Institutional Controls are required at this time.
