Phase I ESA report included the following Identified Areas: Foundry Sand Fill, Adjacent Farell-Cheek Steel Foundry, Dredged Harbor Materials, Potential PCB transformers, Former Coal Yard, Railway Lines and Spurs and small diesel spill area.

Former Use: The Property is located on Sandusky Bay east of downtown Sandusky, Ohio. The first known use of the Property was as an Ice House for ice harvested from Sandusky Bay. Subsequent land uses included coal storage, and for storage of materials associated with the adjacent Farrell & Cheek Steel Company Foundry. Currently the Property is used for on-site boat storage, maintenance and repair by Sandusky Bay Marine Services. The Property was formerly owned by Farrell-Cheek Steel Company from 1939 to 1984. Steven C. Lochner purchased the Property in 1988. Sandusky Bay Investment Company, LTD. acquired the Property in 1996.
