Additional Property Attributes

Generally the mill site consists of undeveloped relatively flat land with vegetative growth throughout. The Property is divided by the developed gravel Camp Road with the primary mill location on the north east quadrant of the property. The northwest quadrant is vacant land. The southern half of the property is tribal property used for a combination of tribal activities and residential purposes.

Former Use: The current owner of the subject property is the United States of America by the Bureau of Indian Affairs. It resides within the exterior boundaries of the Yurok Reservation and is the site of an historic timber mill in what is generally undeveloped, forested, rural land. The Subject Property is currently has no structures or other site improvements other than being leveled in the vicinity of previous timber yard. There remains a network of the graded access roads that are currently covered in undisturbed moss and emergent shrubbery.The immediate vicinity includes Tribal residences. Knulthkarm Creek flows through the southern region of the Subject Property, approximately 565 meters from the old mill site. Pecwan Creek is closer to the mill site (approximately 140 meters), but lying in the adjacent property to the north.
