Additional Property Attributes

The Yurok Tribal Police investigated the Subject Property with overflights of the area that included aerial surveillance. Their reconnaissance provided sufficient evidence of illegal marijuana growing operations to support warrants for enforcement actions that were taken on August 23, 2014. At that time 861 marijuana plants were eradicated on the property. The potential Recognized Environmental Condition (REC) evaluated in this Phase II ESA was the use of the Subject Property for Illegal Marijuana Cultivation. The Subject Property is in a previously harvested forested area consisting of conifers, hardwoods, and brush.

The Subject Property is in a previously harvested forested area consisting of conifers, hardwoods, and brush.The Subject Property is steeply sloped second growth forest that was historically managed for commercial timber harvest consisting of conifers, hardwoods, and brush. The current owner is Andrew Tone.
