Additional Property Attributes

Parcel A currently contains a 1- to 3-story 48,000 square foot vacant former factory ("the Factory"). An 1892 city directory map provided by Syracuse University shows parcel A as a vacant lot. The initial portions of the Factory were constructed in 1912 for the Syracuse Bread Company. Further expansions occurred between 1924 and 1951, during which time the Factory was bought by the General Baking Company. Sometime between 1968 and 1972, Parcel A was purchased by the Cooper Decoration Company. By 1978, the Cooper Drapery Company was also a listed occupant. These companies reportedly went out of business in the early 2000s. Parcel A was sold by Cooper Decoration Company to the Cooper Superior Sign Company on May 4, 2001, which in turn sold the parcel to Baruch Zvi Holdings LLC for $109,000 on January 30, 2006. Parcel A was reportedly tax delinquent by 2010. On December 12, 2018, the City of Syracuse and the GSLB acquired Parcel A through a tax foreclosure process.
