Additional Property Attributes

Situated along scenic highway 55 and the Payette River, this former mill yard employed a significant number of people in Cascade. Upon closure, the property presented a blight. Cloverdale nursery will finish recycling log material and then turn the property over to Valley County to be developed as green space/public park.

Former Use: former log storage yard with no reported log treatment. Mil closed down and created an enormous blight between the highway and the Payette River. Boise is interested in a property transfer with a local nursery (which is cleaning up the site and recycling the log waste as mulch). Boise has entered into DEQ's VCP.
