Additional Property Attributes

RPC conducted a Phase I ESA on the site. Shortly after the Phase I was completed, the project contact passed away and RPC was no longer involved in the project. RPC did not conduct a Phase II to confirm if suspected RECs are actually present (which is why they were marked unknown) so we dont know what cleanup was needed/ conducted/ how much was spent on cleanup. The site was apparently transferred to another developer who cleanup up the site and redeveloped it. Redevelopment information was gathered from tax assessor information available online. Contaminants & Media Affected Information has been updated to mark no contaminants. No cleanup information was included in the record since you have to enter funding numbers in order to enter other cleanup info (start/ end date; acres cleaned) and RPC does not have this information.

Former Use: This residential property was flooded as a result of Hurricane Katrina and sold to the state as part of the Road Home program. This site is part of a package of sites purchased by the Faubourg Fund to restore as affordable housing. The Faubourg Fund is accessing CDBG funding for the restoration, which requires a Phase I ESA and lead & asbestos surveys. Shortly after completing the Phase I, the project contact passed away. RPC is unaware of any additional work that may have been conducted after the site contact passed away.
