Additional Property Attributes

The property has been owned by the Klamath Trinity Unified School District since 1933 and has only been used as the high school football field since then. However, fill soil is known to have been imported to the site from near a former national priorities list cleanup site and also from multiple unknown locations. A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment was performed under this TBA to identify RECs that may require further assessment following the guidelines of the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). While the planning process is nearly complete, soil sampling for the Phase II assessment has not been completed.

Former Use: Pre-1933 possible residential land use; 1933 until sometime from 1954 to 1972 vacant; some time from 1954 to 1972 to present used as a high school football field.
