Additional Property Attributes

The property was first developed as a VA Hospital as far back as 1948. A Phase I ESA was completed in 2018 for a potential investor. The Phase I ESA identified RECs including the presence of leaking drums, unlabeled drums, unknown ASTs, and up to 100 containers of paint, thinners, and adhesives. In 2018 Pulaski County Community Services requested a TBA and entered into the Arkansas Brownfield Program. An asbestos and lead-based paint survey was conducted and did identify asbestos containing materials and lead-based paint. As of August 2020, the end use has not been determined and abatement has not occurred. An out of state buyer is interested in redeveloping the property.
