Additional Property Attributes

Based on the historic use of the Site, the consultant recommended a Phase II ESA, which would include an assessment of both soil and groundwater. The consultant also suggested the completion of an Asbestos Survey, Lead-based Paint Survey and Microbial Growth (Mold) Survey. Applicant would like to redevelop property for residential use and salvage former Shields Engineering building, if possible. Applicant requires financial assistance to complete Phase II activities.

Former Use: Four of the parcels were formerly utilized for industrial and retail purposes including; drycleaning, manufacturing and machining. The building located on the Former Shields Engineering property is an abandoned industrial facility with multiple 55-gallon drums containing unidentified materials. The remaining two parcels were utilized for residential purposes.
