Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Historical records indicate the Property was developed in the 1800s with sawmills and shipyards. The shoreline was expanded north and east over time with fill. Sandusky City Hall was constructed on the southern area of the site circa 1955; the current Sandusky Sailing Club and Battery Park Marina buildings were constructed on the northern area of the site in 1980 and 1985. The remainder of the Property includes parking lots, a park, and two mooring basins partly enclosed by breakers.
